Description
The warmth of cinnamon, the comfort of sweet raisins, and a sourdough hydrated with raisin water make this a proper loaf for winter!
It’s a perennial Happy Monk favourite and still looks as good as it tastes, with the scattered-soaked Thompson raisins poking through the reddish-brown crust. You’ll want to dive into it with the bread knife, slather it with butter and savour the cinnamon, sourdough and raisin. Could you get the second slice into the toaster? If there is still a hunk of this bread a few days later, it makes great French Toast!
